Brad has over 30 years of litigation experience He went to law school at the University of North Dakota where he graduated with distinction in 1995.  He was also selected as a National member of the Order of the Barrister for demonstrating outstanding trial and appellate advocacy skills.

Brad is a Board-Certified Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Minnesota State Bar Association.  He is designated as a Great Plains Super Lawyers^® since 2009 in  Personal Injury Defense by Minnesota Law & Politics for attaining a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  Awarded Martindale-Hubbell^® “AV” rating indicating an exemplary reputation and well-established practice.

Brad has tried over 50 jury trials and more than 20 bench trials in North Dakota and Minnesota.  He practices primarily in the area of insurance defense litigation including civil trial practice, products liability law, negligence law, insurance law, and commercial litigation in state and federal courts in North Dakota and Minnesota.

He is admitted to practice law by the State Bar Association of North Dakota and the Minnesota State Bar Association, U.S. District Court for the Districts of North Dakota and Minnesota, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.  He is a member of State Bar Association of North Dakota, Minnesota State Bar Association, , North Dakota Defense Lawyers Association, Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, American Board of Trial Advocates, and Greater Grand Forks County Bar Association. He is a former member of the International Society of Barristers, Defense Research Institute, International Association of Defense Counsel, The National Trial Lawyers, the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, Association of Defense Trial Lawyers, Claim and Litigation Management. He has served on the National Association of Legal Assistants Certifying Board and the Advanced Paralegal Certification Board. He is also a member of the North Dakota Board of Law Examiners and has served on other local civic boards. He and his wife are also former foster parents.
