Zachary J. Boettner
Attorney Zachary J. Boettner joined Camrud, Maddock, Olson & Larson in January of 2025, and centralizes his practice in the areas of agricultural and cooperative law, commercial and business law, and real estate law. His services range from simple real estate purchase and sale transactions to effectively implementing complex corporate mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and dissolutions. Zach also provides guidance to boards of directors and other governing bodies as to their legal roles and responsibilities.
Born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Zach has strong ties to his community and enjoys seeing his clients succeed in their endeavors. He attended the University of North Dakota where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy in 2011. Zach went on to attend the University of North Dakota School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate (cum laude) in 2015.
Zach has been a part-time instructional faculty member of the University of North Dakota’s Nistler College of Business & Public Administration since 2018, teaching undergraduate courses pertaining to the appraisal and valuation of real estate, as well as the financing and development of real estate.
Outside of his legal practice, Zach serves on the Board of Directors of the North Dakota Community Foundation, and also as a committee member on the Quentin Burdick Center for Cooperatives Executive Education Committee, which provides educational seminars to executives and directors in the cooperative industry as to their roles and responsibilities, as well as discussion on pertinent industry topics.
Zach and his wife Rachel love spending time with their two daughters and two dogs, and enjoy getting out to the lake or playing a round of golf. In any spare time, Zach is always looking to discover new music of all genres.
