Matt A. Paulson

Matt Paulson is a native of Grand Forks, North Dakota. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy. He earned his juris doctor from the William Mitchell College of Law in 2014, where he graduated summa cum laude. During law school, Matt was a law clerk at Colich & Associates, a private criminal defense firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota; and the Ramsey County Public Defender's Office. He was also a Research Assistant to Professor Collette Routel.

As an attorney at Camrud, Maddock, Olson & Larson, Matt's practice areas include criminal defense, including both misdemeanor and felony-level offenses; DUI defense; appellate litigation; personal-injury and products-liability litigation; restraining orders; business and commercial law; real estate law; drafting and reviewing premarital agreements; and general litigation. Matt is licensed to practice in all state courts in the states of North Dakota and Minnesota. He is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
